2 questions: I have a replacement remote keyless entry and am looking for programming instructions for a 2006 Mazda3?

#2: I need a replacement key (it is a chip key) and the dealer wants $30.00 for the key plus $50.00 to program it, if I buy it from the dealer, ar there instructions available for me to program the new key?

The answer with the key fob is easy. It is a process of key rotations in the ignition switch and opening the doors in a sequence. You need a programmed key for that and ALL your 'fobs'

The answer for the Key program is. You have to get the dealer to do it. There is a security access procedure into the PCM that can only be performed by a MAZDA dealer. During this process we are asked security questions that we have to reply to with the correct answer. There are literally MILLIONS of answers to the questions. $50. Is not that much. Thats why the number of auto thefts have gone down so much in the past few years.

That is info that I am not willing to give out. If your local dealer gives it to you, thats up to them.
