1992 Mazda MX3 92 Mazda MX3 wiper problem
Electrical problem
1992 Mazda MX3 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 61000 miles
The wipers will come on by themselves when the weather is warm. The only way to turn them off is to turn the key back 1 click or shut the car off. The intermiten wipers never work.

Seems like a multifunction switch problem. Test switch continuity.
WIPER/WASHER SWITCH Front Wiper/Washer Switch Turn ignition off. Disconnect wiper/washer switch harness connector. Test continuity of front wiper/washer switch terminals. See FRONT WIPER/WASHER SWITCH CONTINUITY TEST table and Fig. 1 . If front wiper/washer switch does not test as specified, replace wiper/washer switch. FRONT WIPER/WASHER SWITCH CONTINUITY TEST
Switch Position Continuity Between Terminals Wipers One-Touch Off Blue/Yellow & Blue/White One Touch On Blue/Red & Blue Intermittent Blue/Yellow & Blue/White Low Blue/White & Blue High Blue/Red & Blue Washer On Blue & Blue/Orange Also check the intermittent wiper relay.
