My 97 millenia has been overheating I had a head gasket fixed about 2 months ago, ran fine then as soon as I turned on the ac it began too overheat. It seem to do it faster than when the gasket went And there doesn't seem to be smoke or any leaks or oil in the coolant or visa versa. There is no heat and this guy told me there was no coolant in the engine block whatever that means (since he only had my car for about 15 minutes) Does this sound like the water pump or the thermostat? Help no one seems to want to ive me a straight answer unless I committ to $800 worth of work

Well.I always test for lewaks, the antifreeze is going somewhere, a pressure test should be done, also check for blocked radiator and radiator fins. Tstat is a starting point if it overheats without the radiator circulating. Does your radiator cooling fan come on the same time you turn on your A/C? It should! Let us know! Fill system back up with a 50/50 mix and test! BTW a great place to inspect for leaks is the plastic recovery tank, seen it a thousnad times.
