1990 Mazda b2600 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual 70k miles

I had posted a question regarding not being able to start a recently installed motor,you answered me to check starter motor ground, I checked all grounds, and cleaned all connections.I have also checked the clutch interlock,I can manually jump the starter, but it will not start with the key,any more sugestions? If you're talking about the only time it can crank the engine over is to go thru the starter motor -Did you check for power while in cranking postion on the black and yellow wire on the clutch switch if not check it no power means the ignition switch is decective or the wire is open to the switch.
