I have a 1995 Mazda 626 and would like to know if there is a guide that shows how to hook up a water pump.

Go and buy a Hayne's Repair manual if you are not sure. If you have the 2.0 release tension on the belt throught the alternator bracket. Take the four bolts out of the pulley and remove the pulley. You may have to take the bolt out of the power steering pump first and set it off to the side to have room to work. Drain the coolant from the engine. Remove the water pump, carefully scrape off old gasket material, and install the new pump and the reverse of removal.
