Recently, my car started to have problems with jolting and bucking when I gave it gas. Now it will not run at all. My husband straight wired the fuel pump and it runs perfectly. Called the dealer and they say there is no relay that could be out. If anyone can help with this confounding problem, it would be much appreciated. We could keep the fuel pump straight wired and install a toggle switch, but we'd rather fix it properly... if we could only figure out the problem. Thanks in advance!

They are right , there is no "fuel pump relay" but there is a fuel pump control unit. the problem should be in there.
