1989 Mazda 626 Will not start

When I try to start it all I get is a single quiet click. It does not turn over at all or anything, just a single click.

Test the battery and make sure its cleaned and tight-Have helper hold key at crank position find the starter and bang on it-if it cranks over-replace the starter-if not look for power at the starter solenoid red an black wire.
