Electrical problem
1986 Mazda 626 4 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 148000 miles

I just recently got a mazda 626 and the people before me said that the only problem that they were having was that the alarm was draining the battery. A simple solution. Remove the alarm. Now im no foo, I know that certain alarm systems will prevent the car from turning over if you simply cut the wires. My dad on the otherhand was not so wise to this fact.
I warned my dad to pay careful attention to where the wires were going to and coming from(Knowing full well that neither of us would know how to put it back together otherwise). Long story short, we took a thick wire in there and got it to make the car turn on again and even turn over, but it wont start up cuz its not getting any power to the coil that we already replaced. Any ideas?
Thanks for the help

The item that fires the coil is the ignition module. Have it tested. Autozone or a place like that will test it for free. Keep me posted
