Hello,

I have a 1993 Mazda 323, 2D HB and the problem is once it has been started and driven for a short distance and the ignition is turning off, the car will not start again unless you leave for 20 minutes or so.

At first, the car start perfect, but when I let it idle the idle goes faster then slower then faster then slower at constant rate, but is drivable and doesn't stall.

Once the ignition is turned off then it does'nt want to start. When I try and start it the car won't turn over unless I wait.

I haven't taken the car in to the shop yet, but I have checked the air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, and grounding wires and everything seems ok.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks.

P.S the car is fuel injected.

if the engine doesn't turn over unless you wait sounds like you have more than one problem
