Mazda 323 1993

My car stalls or will not start intermittently. An on-board diagnostic showed 29 blips, and supposedly this means that the solenoid switch is defective.

Where IS this switch? Even a mechanic was not aware of such a switch.

Any help greatly appreciated!

are you sure it is not a code #2 and #9?
code #2 is a Ne 1 signal failure if I remeber correctly (commonly a dist failure) and I think #9 was a coolant temp sensor (green connector with two wires on intake runner for cyl #2

Get it checked out by your local mazda dealer
