1996 Mazda 323 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 100000 miles

We have been informed by the AA that our fuel pump has gone. Can you please tell mw where it is situated?
I read earlier that a 1995 model has the pump inside the fuel tank, is it the same for our model??
