My windows do not crank up and down as easily as they should. I'm getting older and they are getting harder and harder to roll up and down. Is there a relatively cheap way for me (not mechanically inclined), to fix this problem? Thank you.

More than likely the issue is your window channels are dried out and will actually grab the window and not let you roll it up that easily.

More than likely you will be able to spray the window runs with a silicone based lubricant and then roll them up and down a couple times. If this does not work then you are going to have to remove the door panel and lubricate the assembly that holds the window. This is called the regulator.
