Check the coolant container and it is full and the light will not go off.

Is the coolant tank filled to at least the seam of the coolant bottle? If so see if the back up light fuse is blown in the understood fuse box it is a 10 amp fuse. If that is blown it will cause that light to come on and stay on. If all that is good unplug the sensor on the bottom of the coolant bottle and jump across the connector to the coolant bottle. If the light in the dash goes out replace the coolant bottle.

Thank you. It was the thing on the bottom of the coolant tank. It needed to be cleaned. Now light is off. Thank goodness it was an easy fix. I really appreciate your help. I have had my Saturn eleven years now and paid only a grand for it. I have been truly blessed by this car.
