Timing chain broke. Replaced all bent valves. Getting ready to do the timing kit. Didn't know if anyone has a pretty detailed description of the job to help me out. I have watched the cloyes video just want to get all information that I can. Thanks

Good afternoon,

I attached the Melling video for you.

Do you have the chains with the color links?

Do you have the cam locking tools for the cams?

Roy

Yes, you do. Follow the instructions on which chain gets installed first.

Sorry I have another question. I had to remove the head because of bent valves. Reading the Haynes manual it tells me to tighten to only 22ft. Lb plus additional 150 degrees. Does this seem low?
