The interior lights do not come on when I open a door. Entry code does NOT unlock the doors! When the door panel switch is moved to lock the doors-the front head lights come on!

You need to run this quick test first, then if it points you to a pinpoint test, let me know which one and I will post it.
TESTING To test and service remote keyless entry system, perform the Quick Test first. Perform pinpoint tests only when instructed to by the Quick Test. When pinpoint tests are completed, repeat Quick Test to ensure system is operational. QUICK TEST 1. Lock and unlock each door several times from each individual switch. If doors lock and unlock properly, go to next step. If doors do not lock and unlock properly, go to PINPOINT TEST F. 2. Sit in vehicle with all doors closed. Turn ignition on then off.
