Brakes problem
1992 Lincoln Town Car V8 Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 251700 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I have a 1992 lincoln towncar, and when i apply the brakes, the pedal sticks and i have to pull it up with my foot. When i attempt to make a turn, right or left, when the brake is applied, the engine shuts off. I know that i need a power steering pump also. Is the problem with the brakes or the power steering pump?

I had the same problem, I took my car to pep boys for them to install front brake pads and did not have that problem with the pedal sticking. Also when installing new brakes pads they lubricate. Hope this was helpful....
