my rear suspension on my 2001navigator lets down while im riding and i hear air leaking on the driver side but i let the truck sit for a little bit it pumps back up and stop leaking then i can ride a little bit more and it happens again but when i park it and it let down i crank up truck it pumps up and stay as long as its parked

From what you've described, your air springs are leaking. If you replace them NOW, you may get lucky and not have to replace the compressor. If your fairly handy, you can replace these yourself in a few hours tops. Someone thats good doing these can do them in half an hour ;)

At the dealer they're approx. $200 each, but you can get them aftermarket for a hair over $200 for a pair of them including shipping.
