Suspension problem
1991 Lincoln Mark VII V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic
I have a 1991 mark Vll and I replaced the air bags once and know Im having all kinds of problems with the front suspension not rising up. Im getting fed up with it. I would like to know how big of a job it is to switch to regular shocks. I took my car to a dealership and they told me that it is some kind of sensor that they can not find no where in the lincoln world which doesnt make any sense. So i think ive made up my mind and want to switch to shocks . Can you help me with what type of shocks and some sort of directions to do this job myself ?

It is not shocks you want, you need springs . Check the web for articles.

Its not that big of a deal at all. We carry a kit for $339 to do this and can be done in 2.5-4 hours....depending on how "motivated" you are. ;)
