1990 Lincoln Mark VII OIL PRESSURE
Engine Mechanical problem
1990 Lincoln Mark VII V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic
I bought a car in folrdia the oil pressure gauge stayed a low when the carplaned out while driving<i drove it the 450 miles home with no problems. i had the oil sending unit changed, now the pressure is nom when driving but when i stop or let off the gas the pressure is burried at LOW!!!!! Do I need to replace everything to do with the oil pump{oil pump,hex shaft,screen?}? What do I do?

Sir, if the OPSU been replaced and continues to have low pressure and there's no engine knocking noises on bottom engine or top end-I'll will start at the oil pump by actually checking the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge to rule it out-
