engine has miss at idle seems to smooth out off idle seems like if disconnect any coil pack left side of engine at idle no difference in performance. if disconnect aany on right sid eng makes significant difference no matter what cyl. has jaguar engine in it have replaced coil packs no help plugs good compression throughout eng both side fluctates from 180 high to 145 low with both sides showing appros same fluctation. also hear slight tapping noise in intake on left side of engine if run unit on road run s
very well with not noticeable performance loss any ideas?

Hi there,

this may be cross firing ignition leads or faulty injectors, i would have a run on an oscilloscope to check the entire ignition system out. and have an exhaust emissions test done to check mixtures and injector operations, do a scan as well and a fuel pressure test
