2000 Lincoln LS wont start

Does the starter engage? Does it just click or does it make no sounds at all?

If the starter engages you will hear a loud CLUNK if thats the case then the eng. May be locked up

if it just clicks it may be a bad starter

if no sounds. May be a security problem or some other starting circuit problem
