My car was running fine but today it will not start. It turns over ok but no hint of starting. I get a Check Traction Control message on the car's display. Everything under the hood looks good. I used another key with the same result. Can you help?

My 1999Lincoln Continental is doing the exact same thing! When frigid cold outside seems to affect when this happens. I also get the "Traction Control" message. I notice that the fuel pump does not engage when it won't start.

My car is not cranking. It sounds like it wants to, but won't. There is no fire coming from the spark plugs. Could this be the EEC relay?

If not cranking then could be the starter or battery

Has a new battery. Not the starter. It is not getting fire from the spark plug to the coil.
