from the driver's side at the bottom of the radiator the hose runs across to the passenger side of the car. it turns up into a housing with a secondary smaller hose coming out the side of the housing. if you remove the 2 bolts holding this housing together you will find the thermostat inside with an O ring seal that has to be replaced in the right position when you reinstall the new thermostat.
