1994 Lincoln Continental 6 cyl Automatic 144,00 miles

How to trouble shoot rear suspension.I turned off the switch in trunk area started car and turned switch back on. The rear does not come up.The compressor runs there are no leaks at the dryer fittings.

If the compressor is running and the rear won't come up, you either have a leak in the lines, leak in the rear air struts or a weak compressor. Did the rearend go down overnight?....or after you got into the car to leave?

Most likely it'll be cheaper to do a coil spring conversion, as I'm not sure Ford still offers the rear struts and the aftermarket has decided to discontinue those parts as well.
