Suspension problem
1993 Lincoln Continental 6 cyl Automatic 123000 miles

we just purchased the car very cheap. The front suspension is not working. It is air bag suspension. How expensive will this be to fix. Can we replace some of the parts ourselves? Can we still get the parts? Thank you

You can get a conversion kit from about any parts store to convert it to conventenal struts for about 400.00. If it runs good and you want to keep it, thats what id do.I have a 1992 with the same problem, but it looks bad, & idont want to spend that kind of money on it. As far as if you could replace them your self, the answer is yes, with bacic hand tools. You could do a search on junkyarddog. Com for the original struts.I do think there about the same price though. If ive helped, please reply back
