This does not happen constantly but while I'm driving at night I have noticed that the headlights will start flickering really bad and no matter what I do they wont stop. Then after awhile they suddenly stop. Could this be an electrical short? If so, would it just be the wiring for the headlights or the whole electrical system? How would I go about self diagnosing this problem?

Hello again,

Okay, this could be problem with a loose pin in the connector at the MICU, which is part of your vehicle's Under hood Fuse and Relay Box and goes to Combination Light Switch. The wire is a black wire and is pin #S5 of the MICU connector and pin #12 of the Combination Light Switch. In the diagrams down below I have included wiring diagrams from the MICU and the Headlight Circuit. I have also included the location and diagrams with callouts for the Under hood Fuse and Relay Box, which is where the MICU is located in the diagrams down below. Please go through these guides, check out the wire, and get back to us with what you are able to find out.

Thanks,
Alex
