Hi,
Thanks for helping.
I have Lexus RX 330 Japan made.
There is Check Engine and VSC light. I did check with OBD scanner. There are Error code P2238 and P2241

When I check with Mechanic, he told me to change O2 sensor.
I am just checking in internet, there are lots of conflicts. Some one say O2 sensor some one say A/F sensor.

Can you please let me know which sensor to change and any universal sensors works in this case?

Thanks & Regards
Srini

Thanks for your reply. There is confusion due to OBD database. It says all are O2 sensors But we need to differentiate based location data like bank1 sensor 1 and bank2 sensor 1.

An O2 sensor is not going to fix this. This is caused by the a/f sensor shorted out or having problems in wiring to a/f sensor. But if you really must know, bank 1 is where #1 is and #1 sensor is before converter.#2 sensor after converter.

I got this image from other thread. It says AF sensors are top of the engine and O2 sensors are bottom of engine.

Thanks for your replies.

Is there any opinion to repair instead of replacing?

AF sensors are costlier and there are no after market parts available in Web.

IN THE FUTURE REPOST AS A NEW QUESTION OTHERWISE IT WILL NOT GET ANSWERED. Scan for codes for power window a pro will need to do it. It may need resetting.
It is a cam timing problem and a pro needs to fix this with a scanner. It's out of synch
