2006 Lexus RX 330 Ignition start-up noise when car hot
Noises problem
2006 Lexus RX 330 6 cyl Automatic 28,000 miles
I have been to the dealer several times with this problem and they cannot find anythign wrong. When my car has been sitting in the hot sun and I start it up, it makes a squealing noise. The noise goes away after 5 seconds. I notice it is only when I turn on the ignition. I live in South Florida and my car is parked in the hot sun almost everyday. This has been going on for about 1 year.

Possibly be serpintine belt squeal open hood have assiatent start squeal come from belt area? has belt been changed?

Dealer said they checked allt eh belts. Is serpentine belt somethign they would typically check?

Only makes a squeal sound when car has been sitting in hot sun.

Belt is a visual check and replaced on milage or time. That is why I wanted you to open hood when setting hot and listen for source of noise
