My key is stuck in ignition
My Lexus key is stuck in my ignition of an LS 400, I figured out how to take it out by taking of the battery but once i turn it on again it keeps getting stuck and i cant be leaving my key in the ignition everywhere i go. Can anyone plz help me if they have any information on this issue. Thanks

key in ignition sometimes means that your car is not in Park, or your car does not "know" that you are in Park, This is caused by a switch on the trans selector lever being out of adjustment. Now why it comes out when you remove the battery may have something to do with the switch being a "virtual" switch in the ECU.
