Hello ctsavell

Here is the exploded view of the instrument panel to help in removing the Audio System from the dash.
(This diagram is sent to your email so it can be viewed better)

The first thing you can do is to take out all CDs. If the CDs cannot be taken out, do not attempt to take out forcibly. Send the unit for repair.

Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.

While holding the -UP- and -DISC- switches, turn the ignition switch to the ACC position.

The CD indicator light blinks during the mode setting and remains lit after the setting is completed.

Without Multi-display: When the mode setting is completed, -SHIP- appears on the display.

Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position and disconnect the battery negative terminal.

Remove the panel instrument cluster finish lower as follows to gain access to the radio/CD.

Remove the 3 screws (N). (see diagram)

Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 clips and remove the panel instrument cluster finish lower.

Disconnect the connectors.

Remove the radio receiver assembly and bracket. If equipped with a CD player, see the back side of the radio receiver assy and check that the window provided for mode checking is red. If the window is not red, perform the ship mode setting again.

Thank you. The instructions seems clear although I don't have a "moulding remover", so I will need to learn what that tool is all about.
