The passenger side headlight does not operate consistently. At times when you turn the car on the headligh works but goes off while driving. Other times the headlight does not go on at all. I would like to know if this is an electrical short, before I go and buy the very expensive bulb and or ballast. How can I check for the electrial short and how can I check the bulb and ballast?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi luisfr
I doubt it is a short more likely the filimant in bulb.
Remove bulb is connector on tight? Then look closely at filimant and gently tap with a pencile does it vibrate and seperate? If so new bulb. This can also be done with light on. When it works then you drive vibration will cause filimant to seperate and can all so cause it to connect. The source of the erradict operation.
Hope this helpThank you for your donation
