That is a nice car you have and can easily get another 100,000 miles or more.

To answer that I want to know what maintenance has been done the last 30,000 miles.

Hey Jerry,

Pretty much a hand full of things should get attended to based on your reply.
Transmission fluid should have been changed a few time by now.
I'll edit and update my post in a minute.

IF original, replace the ignition wires.

Replace:
Spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, cabin air filter, pcv valve.

Transmission filter and fluid.

Flush coolant.

Belts? Check condition. Any cracks?
Hoses soft or bulged? Replace them.

Power steering fluid discolored? Change it.

IF brake fluid is not clear and clean, flush it.

Rotate tires every other oil change.

Throttle body and intake valves should be chemically cleaned.

Any cracked vacuum lines should get replaced.

If a shop is going to do the work, ask them to give it a once over and test drive so they can get a look for other possible upcoming troubles such as suspension items and such.
