Was drivin along then noticed my speedo stopped working so I watched my tach for about 15 min then it also stopped. Both are dead now.

Hello
Thanks for the donation.

First place to start troubleshooting is the fuse. Ensure the fuses are good and receiving power. Obviously if the tach quit after the speedo, the fuse is good but just to be certain you will want to test them.

If they test good, the culprit is probably a faulty vehicle speed sensor. The speed sensor is located on the driver's side of your transmission. Test it with a voltmeter to ensure it is working properly.

Post results and I will follow up.

Hope this helps.
