oil pressure light going off and on ,slight rattling on excelleration wiyh a lose of power

Hi there,

The first thing that you need to do is get the oil pressure tested with a mechanical gauge , lets see what the actual pressure is first, start here.

Thanks.The oil pressure is about 75psi.What's next?If you can help me fix this i will certanly make it worth your wild.I realize time is money.Thanks again!

OK, oil pressure sounds fine, so i would be replacing the pressure switch, no i would get a scan done and look for a faulty knock sensor, as i feel it is a timing issue causing this rattle, if it is there under acceleration, i would be fairly sure that we may be looking at a knock sensor,
