1999 Lexus GS 300 Speedometer and Odometer stopped working

Electrical problem
1999 Lexus GS 300 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 145000 miles

Hi, My speedometer stopped working after I hit a pot hole and damaged my drivers side lower arm.
I replaced the wheel and the lower control arm. but later found that the speedometer stopped working.
Is it the speed sensor, coz the cruise control still works. and this car has two speed sensors. and 4 ABS wheel speed sensors. No engine check lights ON.
Need to fix it ASAP

The gear is plastic, and may have cracked during your mishap, it's on the rear of the transmission usually driven by the right axle, remove the hold down screw and pull it out, inspect the gear. Use an OHM meter the reading across the two terminals of the sensor should be 560-680 ohms, but you may find it ohms OK but the gear is broken.
