Hello,
We were in a rainstorm last night, had to drive through an area up to the bottom of the doors in water and stalled, we have been having issues with the starter as it is, but it would not start last night, we pushed it out of the water and home (not far from home). What do we do from here? it didn't have much power at all last night and when we kept trying to start it, there started to have a burnt smell to it, could something have burned out? it would try to ignite but wouldn't start...........hard to tell if it was just the rain or both starter problems from before combined with this rainstorm....

Hi there,

The burning smell is a bit of a worry, i think i would get it towed and have the starter checked and also check for any water ingestion into the air filter, start here.
