My car blew a headgasket about 2 months ago. We took the head all apart, replaced the headgasket, and put it all back togeather but for some reason it wont start. I turn the key and there is NOTHING. We have checked the battery and the starter and they are both fine. We ran a wire from the battery straight to the start and it kicked over but would not run. The only thing that happens is the check engine light comes on. We think it could be the computer but we dont know how to reset it. If you have any ideas please let me know.

It gets fuel and spark but we think it is some kind of eletrical problem. Im just wondering what I should look at first and any possible eletrical problems these cars could have. Maybe a computer problem?

If you're getting spark and fuel check the valve and ignition timing
