I have been chaseing this problem for a while now. I rebilt and every thing on it is new except the egr and a few sensors. I have replaced the intake, aic, tps, o2, coil packes. I have tested the icm, egr, omed out the injectors
There is an exhaust leak wear the down pipe and mana fold meet, could that be not allowing enought back presure on the motor? Am I missing some thing is there els I can do?

Have you checked for vacuum leaks? If so how did you look? Also when was the last time you changed your fuel filter? They get changed every 30,000 miles and by then they are pretty clogged up. Also have you checked the actual fuel pressure? What about your coolant temp sensor? How old is that? They fail often on those cars and leak coolant into the connectors corroroding the terminals.
