2006 Range Rover Moisture in rt passenger floorboard, front

I think I had this problem last year, and maybe it went away???
My car has been sitting for 4 days while i have been out of town, windows up, sealed well.
I went to wash the car today, and beneath the mat on the rt front passenger side, really , really , wet, I opened the back door on that side, and the moisture is there, but seems to be more toward the edge, and there are moisture droplets on the door facing when you open the door. The car wash people said to check the heater core?? what's that and would it cause this kind of problem? Thanks, Lisa

The heater core is located under the dash on the passenger side. A heater core is like a little radiator inside the passenger cabin that converts the heat from the engine coolant to provide warmth. Just like the radiator in the front of your car, the heater core can leak, except that it leaks inside your car.
