2002 Land Rover Freelander Car question

Hi, I test drove this car today and it made a wining noise everytime I took off, it wasn't very loud! I thought it could be the transmission but not sure. It felt fine when it shifted!

Don' even look at that vehicle stay far away from it and go somewhere else
