Car has automatic and manual shift
When on autmatic i, shifting from idle to drive
there is a jolt when sifting takes place.
also, sometimes especially when initiating a ride
this jolt push like-reoccurs
Once on the road, thiis does not happen until
I have stopped and start the engine again.

have the vehcile plugged into a diagnostic computer to check for transmission fault codes .. sounds like an electrical fault on the trans .. possibly a delayed/sticking solonoid
