2005 Land Rover Discovery 3 Alternator Replacement

2005 Land Rover Discovery 3 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 80000 miles
I need to replace the alternator on my LR3 Disco Automatic.
Any advice, is this straight forward......?? I'm a complete novice.

Removal & Installation
Disconnect battery. Remove accessory drive belt.
Remove 2 bolts securing generator to mounting bracket.
Release generator from mounting bracket.
Remove nuts securing generator leads, and release leads.
Remove generator from mounting bracket.
Remove pulley from generator.
Installation is reverse of removal procedure. Tighten nuts and bolts to specifications. Connect battery.
After repairs verify generator operation
