1989 Land Rover Defender smoking when engine breaking
Engine Mechanical problem
1989 Land Rover Defender 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual 129000 miles
My landrover smokes quite heavily when engine breaking. especially when cold. i've been told this could be the valve stem oil seals. i know the old gal has done some milage but it pulls ok and accelerates without any smoke. Any advice would be welcome cheers

I would let a technician run some tests to find the cause of the fault .. could be numerous causes of smoke !!
