Sometimes when I'm driving my car will engine will shut off without warning. It goes back to like how it is right before I turn the key to make the engine turn over. Why would this happen?

Has the check engine liught come on? Have you checked fuel pump pressure?

Honestly, it sounds electrical like a crank sensor, but I need to know if the check engine light has come on.

Let me know.

Has not come on. And today I was driving and all of a sudden steam came in through my vents and filled up the car. At first I thought it was the radiator but when I put water in it the water leaked inside of my car and flooded the floor mats. I have no idea what's wrong with it. Someone told me it was probably the heater core.

As far as the engine, it is hard to say without a check engine light coming on. However, if it starts right back up, I would recommend checking the crank sensor.

As far as the steam, you need a heater core. That is where the coolant is coming from and getting in the vehicle. Not a fun part to replace.

Let me know if you have other questions. Also, let me know what you find with the crank sensor.
