I am having a problem with the headlights in my Kia burning out way to often. I have had the car for 2 years and have replaced the headlights 3 times and they just burned out again this morning. Kia has said that I need to buy their headlights to fix the problem. What can you reccomend.

Is that vehicle still under warranty? If so take it in for blow headlights. Let them do the repair, then if they blow out in a short amount of time, it becomes their problem. Otherwise, buy their bulbs at the parts dept and install yourself and see if it does make a difference. Do any other lights in the car seem excessivly bright when the headlights pop? Do they do it as a set or one at a time?

It is still under warrenty, when I called the dealer he said he knows it's the after market headlights that are the problem so I am not sure. I am afraid if I waste my time taking it in because they aren't even going to look at it. They blew out one at s time at first and then both at the same times this time.

If you have to buy bulbs, install theirs, then if they blow take it in under warranty. Bulbs should last a very long time with no problems
