2002 Kia Spectra 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 90,000 miles
The alternator on this car started lockup to the point that the belt broke twice. Now that I replaced the alternator with a new one, it seems that this one wants to do the same thing specially went the engine iscold. After you let the engine warn up for a few minutes, everithing goes back to normal. What can be causing this problem?

check the other pulley's are aligned and free and not causing the belt to lock up !!
