I've recently had my clutch replaced and since it has come out of the garage it has an oil leak which it didn't have when it went in. Is it possible it is something the garage have done or is it as they have said just a coincidence that the seal has gone at this moment. Please advice.

Hi there,

Is this an engine or transmission oil leak?

Sorry its an engine leak. When they replaced the clutch they checked the flywheel and they are now saying this is the area where the leak is coming from.

HI there,

No engine oil seals are touched when doing a clutch, even if the fly wheel was removed for re machining, the rear main oil seal is not disturbed in any way, if thi sis now leaking, it will be a case of very bad timing.

Ok thank you its just i've had such a bad experience with this garage that I just wasn't sure. They overtightened the steering wheel and damaged the airbag switch and then crashed the car as well as other minor things so I just needed to check. Thank you for your advice.
