My engine was replaced this year with 2004 egine with low mileage. I have problems with the ignition coil boots bursting (expensive, 2 burst already) and spark plug coming out. It has problem with acceleration too especially when you stop at the red light or unable to get out of the snow but once it "pick up" it runs fine. Once in a while a feel hesitations, mostly when im running at high speed, suddenly it feels dragging but it still running at the same speed but i have to step on the clutch more to stay on the same speed. I have the cat. converter changed d/t being plugged. What would be the problem. I dont know much about cars.

Has anyone checked the throttle position sensor or the idle air control valve? Also, have them check the EGR for proper operation.

Yes they check throttle position sensor & did some settings. It improve 20% but not 100%.
Can I check idle air control valve & EGR myself?

Where is that & what should I do?

Thank you very much for your help.
