Battery in my Kia went dead, put diferent battery in car . Now the car will run but dies after a few miles, seams like battery runs out of power. Checked alterator and it checked out good. What kind of voltage reg. does this car have.

The Alternator has an inbuilt regulator, i would be getting a charge rate test done, check that the battery terminals are clean & tight and have the battery load tested as this is the only real test for a faulty battery, start here and re post if you have any more concerns.
