Check engine light come on

Took to autozone it gave me a po304 code...it's start fine it's runs reallly bad it's stalls like if wanted to turn off. i change the sparks on it still the same...i was doing some research and i guess my next step..should be to change the sparks wireing...then maybe the fuel pump....pls advise thanks in advance...

Very doubtful on the fuel pump. Wires perhaps. Carbon build up perhaps. Can swap injectors to see if problem moves to a different cylinder.

I HAVE A 2000 SPORTAGE and I have an intermittant rough idle..As to it will either idle very high, or it will idle to where it wants to stall..so I ws under the hood and playing with all the electrial wiring and found that the connector to the intake located just to the left,(just above the oil filler cap) when you open the hood, the connector might not be making the best contact... As soon as I touched it, the car idled back to normal. Let me know, I'm curious to know....
